  • Climate change is recognized risk to peoplesâ?? livel ihoods in Tanzania. â?¢ Projected impacts include: variability in temperat ure, rainfall, LGP, flooding and drought. â?¢ This affects different sectors namely agriculture, water resources & ecosystem services among others. Final effects ar e being felt in reduced agricultural production, diminishing river flow & possibly ground water. â?¢ This will be coupled with increasing demand for fo od due to increase in human pressure. â?¢ Rain-fed mixed crop livestock systems of north, ea st and central Tanzania are likely to be most severely affected by these changes
